The Texas Quilt Museum is located on Colorado Street just off the square in downtown La Grange. The exhibit is completely changed every quarter on the first of that month. The entrance fee per senior is $6.00. Photography of the quilts inside the building is not allowed. On the west side of the building there is a "period garden" displaying native plants of different periods of time and a mural of quilts adorns the outside wall. A quilt store is adjacent to the museum to the east.
